Enrollment and registration

Enrollment & Registration

Atlanta ISD is accepting new and transfer students. Enrollment packets are available at all campuses. Returning students will register online.

 

 

The following documents are needed for new student registration:

  • Child’s birth certificate
  • Child’s Social Security Card
  • Proof of residency (utility bill)
  • Immunization record
  • Parent/Guardian’s driver’s license or other photo ID

Returning Students

Online registration for students who are returning to Atlanta ISD will open on July 30 through the Parent Portal. Those needing assistance with online registration may go to the campuses during registration times.

Atlanta Primary School: 

July 26-27, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Atlanta Elementary School:

July 26-27, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Atlanta Middle School (Registration/Schedule Pick-Up):

Online registration in the Parent Portal must be completed prior to picking up schedules. Assistance is available; however, students will not be allowed to get their schedules, IDs or Chromebooks until online registration is complete.

Monday, August 5

8 to 11 a.m. – 8th Grade Registration Only

1-4 p.m. – All Grades 

Tuesday, August 6

8 to 11 a.m. – 7th Grade Registration Only

2-6 p.m. – All Grades

Wednesday, August 7

8-11 a.m. – 6th Grade Registration Only

1-4 p.m. – All Grades

Atlanta High School (Registration/Schedule Pick-Up):

Attending meet-the-teacher events is important for parents, students, and teachers to get to know each other and establish positive relationships, which can ultimately lead to academic success.

Breakfast and lunchBreakfast & Lunch

All students eat FREE! Atlanta ISD qualifies to operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which allows the district to provide breakfast and lunch at no charge. Check our Food Services page closer to the start of school for the upcoming menus.

 


 

Transportation

Transportation

Atlanta ISD provides bus transportation to and from school and the after-school program for its students. For more information on signing your child up to ride the bus, contact your child’s campus.

After-School Program

After-School Program

BLAST, a free after-school program, provides academic assistance and enrichment activities, as well as free dinner and transportation afterward. BLAST will begin on August 21 and operate Monday – Thursday from 3:30-6:30 p.m. and from 3:30-6 p.m. on Fridays. Download the registration form.
