AISD to host immunization clinic Aug. 9

Atlanta Independent School District will host a Back-to-School student immunization clinic Aug. 9 from 9 a.m. to noon at Atlanta Primary School.

Vaccines given for pre-K and kindergartners (if not already current on vaccines) include DTaP, IPV, MMR, varicella and possibly hepatitis A. Incoming seventh graders are required to have MCV4 (meningitis) and Tdap. HPV is optional.

While walk-ins will be accepted, pre-registration is encouraged. Access online registration here.

All insurance policies will be verified. Those who plan to pay out of pocket, should put “NA” in all insurance blanks. The cost for those without insurance is $10 a shot for up to 18 years old, and those older than 18 pay adult prices.
