Community Eligiblity Provision Update

Over the past few months, Atlanta ISD had hoped to participate in a program known as the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).  This program would have allowed all students regardless of economic status to eat in the cafeteria free of charge.  Unfortunately, Atlanta ISD did not qualify for this program due to our percentage of identified students being lower than we had originally expected.  

During the 2019-2020 school year, our cafeterias will operate just as they have in prior years.  As always, Atlanta ISD will continue to offer high quality food, while adhering to the federal guidelines for nutrition.  We will continue to offer free or reduced price meals to anyone who qualifies.
