AMS students qualify for state math, science meet

 Thirty-four Atlanta Middle School students qualified for the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association State Meet on April 1 at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Those who qualified are as follows:

Number Sense: Wade Bergt, Kaleb Carnley, Matthew Castillo, Londyn Huddleston, Brayden Thompson and Wyatt Weaver.

Calculator: April Allen, Parker Braley, Preston Braley, Bailey Brooks, Sydney Castillo, Halley Dawn, Harper Highland, Kamden Kerns, Fannasia King, Ella Kate McCasland, Jayden McCullough, Ealie Mebane, Evelyn Zarate Olalde, Landry Peace, Brayden Thompson and Charles Tyson.

General Math: Kaleb Carnley, Londyn Huddleston, Paul Lansdell, Brayden Thompson and Richard Trinh.

Science: Parker Braley, Ally Byrd, Jaxon Durmon, Ella Garrett, Anna Harbison, Jozie Henkel, Ealie Mebane, Cameryn Morris, Sophie Price, Kenneth Smith, McKenzie Stewart, Chloe Stultz, Braiden Tolbert and Richard Trinh.
