AISD Moves 5th and 2nd Grade

After thorough consideration and staff and community input, the Atlanta ISD has decided to move the 5th grade to Atlanta Elementary School and the 2nd grade to Atlanta Primary School. A district planning committee comprised of employees, parents and community members gathered on Monday, March 26 to discuss the pros and cons of re-arranging the campus arrangement. In addition, campus meetings were held to gather teacher/staff opinions on the campus arrangement. The consensus is that students will be better served at the present time with this new campus arrangement. This change will take affect for the 18-19 school year.
